The “Always There No Matter What!” Facebook Discussion Group

Réseau Avant de Craquer is an extensive support, information and referral network. It includes 43 member organizations spread throughout most regions of Quebec. Their mission is to offer support to family members and friends of those with a mental illness by providing a range of free services, including individual meetings, informational and training activities, support groups and respite care.
At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, a new private Facebook group was created to allow family and friends to share their experiences with one another. The “Always There No Matter What!” discussion group (https://www.facebook.com/reseauavantdecraquer) is a space exclusively dedicated to family and friends who have a loved one with a mental illness.

This virtual community, full of respect, empathy, openness and benevolence toward fellow members, provides a safe space for people of all ages to express themselves. There are now more than 700 people in the group, most of whom are from Quebec.

Questions addressed to moderators will be answered within 24 hours and during our regular business hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. It is important to note that Réseau Avant de Craquer does not staff moderators during evenings, nights and weekends.

If you need help, call 1-855-272-7837. If it’s an emergency, call 911. Please note that all individuals requiring specific help will be referred to their local organization for personalized support.
